Covid/Sick Policy

MAKEUP APPOINTMENTS:

If you or anyone you’ve been in contact with in the past 14 days have tested positive for or shown symptoms of COVID or any related illness (fever, shortness of breath, dry cough, diarrhea, cold or flu-like symptoms, etc.), DO NOT CONTINUE WITH APPOINTMENT. It is extremely important that you are honest for the safety of yourself, your artist, and others.

Due to the recent decline in Covid cases, temperature checks are no longer required upon entry and masks are optional. Your MUA, however, will have on a face covering for the duration of your appointment.

If you are showing any signs of illness upon arrival, be it Covid, a common cold, or anything else, you will be turned around and your appointment will be cancelled, regardless of negative covid test or vaccination status. No exceptions.

Signs of illness include:

  • Fever
  • Persistent Coughing
  • Watery eyes
  • Sneezing
  • Runny nose

Additional reasons to cancel appointment:

  • Pink eye
  • Cold sore
  • Strep throat

Due to sanitation reasons, please only bring ONE (1) small personal item (wallet, purse, fanny pack, etc.) with you. No large items such as book bags, computer bags, outside food or drinks, etc., will be allowed inside and should be left in your vehicle.

Thank you for your cooperation! If you disagree with any of the previously stated, please do not move forward with booking makeup appointment. As always, the safety of Shasta Shantel Makeup clients will remain priority.
